Out client is globally recognised company who currently seeking a skilled individual to join their team based near Edinburgh. The successful candidate will collaborate within a compact team to support daily IT network and infrastructure operations, projects, and decision-making processes, primarily across Europe, with potential global involvement.
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance with day-to-day network and infrastructure tasks, projects, and decision-making activities for IT operations
Sharing responsibility for the operational management of data centres, necessitating an on-site presence.
Key Skills Required:
Proficiency in Azure Server virtualizationtechnologies and VMware virtualization.
Experience with network infrastructure employing Cisco and Cisco Meraki routers, firewalls, and switches.
Knowledge of VLANs
Expertise in Active Directory, including experience with multiple domains and forests.
Understanding of cybersecurity requirements related to IT operations.
Implementation of change control processes and back-out planning.
Strong familiarity with Linux
