IT Infrastructure Manager – SaaS Solutions – 12m FTC – London / Hybrid – £63k-£68k

We’re on the hunt for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager, with knowledge of Azure and extensive experience managing on-premise IT infrastructure (Windows Hyper-V, HPE ProLiant, Alletra and Nimble SANs), to join an innovative SaaS Solutions company in London.

The IT Infrastructure Manager will help deliver stability, security and fast performance across the company’s technology infrastructure. You will deliver IT projects and best practice to ensure high quality customer experiences and to foster business growth.

The role: This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) offering hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days remotely per week). The salary is £63,00 – £68,000 (dependent on experience), working 40 hours per week, with occasional travel around the UK.

Key responsibilities as the IT Infrastructure Manager will include:

• Assisting in the management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure ensuring optimal up time and reliability of the the SaaS solutions
• Responding to Infrastructure Incidents (outages, network problems, cyber threats, capacity and performance issues etc.) to resolve the issues
• Improving knowledge, documentation, procedures and systems to safeguard the company’s data and infrastructure
• Identifying opportunities for enhancing the services through process improvements, automation and tech updates
• Enabling transition of elements of the architecture to Azure
• Maintaining records of VLANs, IPs, IT assets etc.
• Improving weblogs, alerts and reporting as part of security monitoring
• Physical maintenance and housekeeping at data centres around the UK
• Day-to-day server administration and ‘second line’ support

What we’re looking for:

• Demonstrable expertise in IT Infrastructure management
• Extensive experience in managing on-premise IT infrastructure including Windows Hyper-V, HPE ProLiant, Allegra and Nimble SANs, preferably within an SaaS environment
• Experience with Cisco firewalls including IPSEC VPN whitelisting and troubleshooting
• Experience of Azure
• Strong understanding of IT security with experience in maintaining secure IT environments and achieving accreditation
• Excellent communication skills with a personable and approachable nature
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work within a team and independently
• Degree in Computer Science and/or relevant industry certifications
• Full, clean driving licence
