Liberty is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Operations Manager to be based at our Head Office in Knowsley. You will be working on a full-time permanent basis working 40 hours per week and, in return, you will receive a Competitive Salary Plus Benefits. Reporting to the ICT Director the successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent 3rd line support to the wider Liberty ICT Teams and business together with management responsibility and day-to-day oversight of third-party partners and suppliers.
Responsibilities for this IT Infrastructure Operations Manager are:
Keep the IT infrastructure operating effectively, including storage, server and network infrastructureEnsuring robust resilience and failover processes are in place to keep failures and downtime to a minimumSecuring Liberty infrastructure and keeping it safe from cyber-attack and other security threatsSetting the IT infrastructure strategy as part of the wider IT strategyEnsure the server, storage, database and network infrastructure remains compliant with the infrastructure strategy24x7 monitoring of the infrastructure together with real time alerting to prevent business impacting downtimeManaging any significant or major incident that may impact on business operationsManaging any changes to the Liberty infrastructure through ownership of the change management processEstablish best practice operational processes with day to day management of Liberty’s infrastructureEnsure sufficient capacity remains within the infrastructure to proactively support the businessManaging costs in line with agreed budgets
What we are looking for in our ideal IT Infrastructure Operations Manager:
The suitable candidate will be accountable for keeping the IT infrastructure operating effectively in line with demanding business requirements this will include storage, server, and network infrastructure in a hybrid on-premise / cloud-based environment.
The successful candidate will have experience and a proven track record in the management of day-to-day IT Infrastructure operations. They will have a demonstrable track record of operating, maintaining, monitoring and supporting a virtualised on-premise and cloud infrastructure and demonstrate experience with Citrix and Azure and be able to demonstrate best practice with regards to infrastructure operations.
To keep Liberty’s infrastructure and systems safe from harm and any internet born threats, the successful candidate will be experienced and expected to demonstrate best practice with regards to infrastructure security and will be expected to play a key part in any change to the Liberty IT environment.
As a leader, the successful candidate will be expected to set vision and direction to change and improve the Liberty IT Infrastructure in line with short, medium and long-term business goals and objectives.
