IT Network Manager – Lancashire

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Network Manager to join a Trust in Lancashire, on a permanent basis. In the role, you will be the technical lead for all IT systems, services and projects, whilst managing a team of 4 people to ensure IT is running smoothly across sites.

You will also be responsible for managing the Network, prioritising issues and ensure that technical issues are communicated efficiently to non-technical users.

This is an on-site position and you’ll be based across sites in Blackpool, Clitheroe and Blackburn, so a full UK driving licence is required and you must be comfortable with travelling to these locations.

Role Responsibilities:

• To oversee the provision of IT services for sites, overseeing a team of IT Engineers.
• Helping to provide technical leadership, foresight and senior technical advice to effectively meet the goals and needs of the organisation.
• Oversee and manage the expansion of the organisation’s network infrastructure (switches, cabling, routers).
• Ensure that hardware and software is supported for effective delivery across the site.
• Liaise with external third parties to ensure that IT is effectively supported.
• Responsible for ensuring cyber security across sites.
• Design, develop, manage and monitor processes and procedures.
• Liaise with senior management to ensure IT services are prioritised.

Skills and Experience required:

• Previous experience in a similar Network Manager / Senior IT position, preferably having previously managed a small team or mentored Junior Engineers.
• Proven experience in Network infrastructure.
• Windows Server and Desktop OS technologies
• Office 365 and associated technologies.
• Understanding of cyber security principles and data compliance
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Proven experience of decision making and stakeholder management.
• Own transport and full driving licence, able to travel between sites as required.
