IT Security Operations Manager

DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global professional services firm who are looking for an IT Security Operations Manager to join the team based in London.

The role will have line management responsibility for a team of 2 IT Security Analysts.

Responsibilities:
– Establish and maintain the relationship with the firms security vendors, including SoC, SIEM and MDR services
– Research and evaluate emerging security threats and identify and implement appropriate mitigation strategies in conjunction with the firms third-party vendor.
– Manage the cyber incident management process and develop appropriate document repositories, policy documents, operational schedules and processes.
– Participate in projects and liaise with third party suppliers to ensure that IT and information security principles are adhered to, from inception to retirement.
– Manage cross-functional initiatives to deliver on risk goals, policies and procedures.

Required Skills/Experience:
– Strong technical background in information security and security platforms.
– Strong knowledge of Azure, encryption key management and cloud-based services such as M365 is essential.
– Experience of operating in a similar role within the framework of and adhering to requirements of ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus or similar standards.
– Experience in preparing documentation and guidance for others is essential.
– Experience in supplier management, with vendors and resellers.
– Previous experience of working within a legal firm or professional services firm is preferred.
