We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to forge a long- term rewarding career within a market leading technology business.

Role IT Support Engineer

Salary £30k to £40k Depending on Experience.

Location Rotherham/Sheffield (free on-site parking)

Hours Business Hours Mon- Fri – Full Time Perm Role with some remote working available.

This business has their own datacentre location, backup platform and develop their own business software.

The Role

• You will be responsible for delivering professional and knowledgeable client support, respecting agreed SLAs, and bringing resolutions to issues in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain IT solutions for clients.
• Applying the technical skills, you bring to the role to support a range of local and loyal customers.
• Provide technical support, resolve escalated issues, and serve as an expert for the teams IT related matters.

The Person

• Experience in the following areas highly desirable

• Administrative experience with Microsoft 365 including setting up and maintaining In Tune, Conditional Access, group policy etc
• Azure AD and Azure administration
• Experience with current Windows Server Operating Systems and support
• Experience with Veaam or similar back up platforms
• Networking, routing/firewall knowledge ie:Sophos
• Experience in a similar role with IT Support services, Cloud Computing, Network Design, Cybersecurity, Virtualization, and Information Security.
• Experience working with 3rd party applications like Sage.
• Excellent knowledge of operating systems and platforms
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Powershell
• Experience with IT service management platforms, IT operations, and automation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
