Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless technological operations across the college.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level support for IT systems, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Manage and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Conduct regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to staff and students.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and manage inventory.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Technician, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of network and server management, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco).
• An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
