Lead Cyber Security Analyst – Insurance
Location: London (Hybrid)3 days onsite and 2 days from home
Salary: £100,000 + up to 30% Bonus + Benefits

We’re seeking a proactive, innovative Cyber Security Analyst this is your chance to join a team that tackles risks head-on and is dedicated to empowering both the business and clients.
Key Responsibilities Monitoring & Incident Response: Work with third-party SOC to monitor networks, systems, and applications for security issues. Investigate alerts with IT to ensure quick containment and remediation. Vulnerability & Testing: Coordinate with vendors to manage vulnerabilities and conduct regular penetration tests. Escalate compliance concerns to the Cyber Security Manager as needed. Secure Coding & Compliance: Support secure coding practices and help enforce information security policies aligned with ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST CSF standards. Risk Assessments & Reporting: Perform risk assessments, work with vendors to maintain security tools, and produce security reports for stakeholders. Audit & Incident Support: Prepare audit evidence, assist in incident resolution, and integrate lessons learned into the security framework. Serve as a point of contact for cyber incidents.
Key Qualifications & Skills Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Security Experience: Experience in monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management. CISA, SSCP, or CompTIA Sec+ certification is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficient with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and Azure security tools. Collaboration & Communication: Strong team collaboration and ability to communicate security matters to non-technical audiences. ITIL Understanding: Knowledge of ITIL processes for effective IT team integration.
