Whatyou’ll be doing:

• Providetechnical expertise, supporting and / or leading in the followingactivities for mission systems as part of a multi-functionalengineering team:

Concepting

Architecting

Requirementsmanagement

Design

Testing

Safety

CyberSecurity

Qualification andcertification

• Lead andsupport team meetings / DSUMs / Agilereviews Interface with resource planners andowners, establishing tasking and interfaceroutes Manage / help / direct lessexperienced SystemsEngineers Manage the creation of Engineeringdocuments that form part of the Systems Engineeringprocess

Yourskills and experiences:

Essential:

• Systemsengineering and engineering lifecycleexperience
• Knowledgeof systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF,MOOD,Matlab)
• Experienceof developing mission systems and associated domainknowledge

Desirable:

• Someexperience of working in an agileenvironment
• Experience of leading and managingengineering teams
• Presentationskills

The Mission SystemsDelivery team:

You will be part of the Mission SystemsDelivery Team (MSDT) delivering the Assessment Phase of the FutureCombat Air System (FCAS) programme. The team uses an agile workplanning process to develop mission system concept options,architectures and designs for the various components of a futurecombat air system.
