Lead Technical Consultant required by my dynamic technical client based in Luton.

As the Lead Technical Consultant you will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT services to an array of clients as well as working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will possess a strong technical skill set and be able to understand business needs, solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of IT services. This is a hands-on technical role operating as part of the team, delivering onsite support, projects, and consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide onsite Technical Consultancy Services to our range of clients.
• To work with a client base to understand their unique challenges and how technology can better enable them.
• To be our technical “super-hero” and escalation point for those tricky issues that other members of our team cannot resolve.
• To implement new technology solutions for our client base from start to finish to help modernise their business.

As well as being a strong technical lead you will be pivotal in the daily operations and mentor and lead a junior teams as well as being key in operational duties.

This role will mainly be on site but will offer flexibility as any senior role would.

YOU:

You will ideally stem from an MSP environment and be comfortable dealing with people and technology.

You will have a track record in IT support and will have extensive experience in delivering onsite IT consultancy and a background in IT support

Technical Knowledge

• Have solid experience and understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID.
• Have a solid experience and understanding of Microsoft Azure including migrations.
• Have a good awareness of modern device management through Microsoft technologies, ideally encompassing WVD, Intune and Autopilot.
• Track record of creating project proposals and project plans.
• Track record of creating IT Reviews and Cyber Security reviews.
