Network/Cyber Security Specialist – Telecoms industry experience – Permanent – Hybrid (2 days a week for first 3 months in a UK office (London, Cardiff, Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh) then visit once a month) – £70 – 80k per annum
Our client is seeking a talented Network/Cyber Security Specialist to join their team. You will play a crucial role in establishing and supporting the implementation of a robust network security regime for the organisation and wider community.
The role would cover a wide range of cyber security including, but not limited to:
Access Control
Threat analysis
Patching
Virtualisations
Security Governance & Risk Manager
Risk Assessment
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Network Security team to assess and address security incidents.
Support the rollout and monitoring of a compliance regime for the telecoms industry
Provide technical support for investigations.
Engage with industry stakeholders and government agencies to ensure policy alignment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of security assurance, risk management, security governance and cybersecurity threats.
In-depth knowledge of telecoms technology and architecture.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Relevant professional qualifications and a willingness to undergo security clearance.
Desired Qualifications (not required):
Experience in supply chain management, third-party access, and network separation.
