JOB DESCRIPTION
Introduction
We’ve partnered with an exciting organisation at the intersection of the Technology and Nuclear industries, to help them hire Operational Technology Cyber Security Consultants across the South West, to join their skilled local teams and elevate their client solutions.
What will I be doing?
There are opportunities in several locations across the South West, including Bristol, Cardiff and Gloucestershire, playing a key role in helping to safeguard the organisation’s critical infrastructure against cyber threats.
In this role, you’ll design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions, that support secure and resilient IT/OT environment transformations. You’ll work with your customers to launch IT/OT security initiatives, and create OT security strategies, policies, and frameworks.
Some of your key activities will include:
Developing and presenting technical design proposals and reports to your key stakeholders, including senior engineering teams and government bodies
Carrying out risk assessments on IT/OT environments across diverse sectors, identifying vulnerabilities and planning mitigation approaches
Reviewing and enforcing security requirements based on best practices and standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27000 series, and NIST
What do I need to succeed?
You’ve already got previous work experience in cyber security, specifically within Operational Technology, and are knowledgeable in IT/OT cyber security risk assessment and threat management.
You’re familiar with the various security engineering solutions, such as Endpoint Protection, IDS/IPS, and Firewalls for IT/OT environments.
Additional certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, or related to ISA/IEC 62443 and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks would be beneficial, but these aren’t essential for you to apply.
What else do I need to know?
Alongside a wide array of project portfolios that will help expand your knowledge and experience, you’ll have opportunities to gain professional certification and development.
You’ll also be entitled to a competitive benefits package, including health cover and digital GP services for UK employees, as part of the organisation’s supportive work culture and focus on work-life balance, and flexible working options.
