Physical Security Consultant (RSES or CPP or CSMP)

Location: Remote + 1-2 days per week on site

We seek a suitably qualified and experienced physical security consultant to work within a Physical Security Team and group property who can develop a Protective Security Management System that meets the National Technical Authority’s, Government and Legislative requirements.

The role has the following phases:

Phase 1 Discovery
Phase 2 Review security framework and Develop the Process and Standards needed to securely manage the group portfolio
Phase 3 Develop a Site Assurance Strategy, assurance framework and plan
Phase 4 Conduct Site assurance for key sites.

Essential:

• Experience as a physical security consultant (working within a Physical Security Team)
• Physical assurance capability – Increase in process
• Assurance reviews
• Revision of physical security standard
• Review upcoming legislation – Protect Duty
• Aid the Team with assurance around a new framework
• Risk assessments
• Write standards and methodologies for Physical Security
• Excellent communication skills

Sought:

• Security and risk management
• Background physical security, personnel security, or technology professions
• Experience in government and/or a large corporate environment of a comparable scale with comparable risks.
• Ensuring that industry good practice security principles and requirements are embedded across all aspects of the programme, from programme information assurance and personnel security controls to construction security and cyber security controls for new digital services.

Desirable:

• Qualifications in security: RSES or CPP or CSMP
