The Opportunity:Nigel Wright are excited to be working with a large regional public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit a Platforms and Services Analyst. The position will be primarily focused on M365 and as such you will need to be well versed with it.The position is a blend of senior 3rd line tickets as well as project focused, advising the business on future technologies. The organisation operates a hybrid working policy where you can work from home c. 2 days a week.The Role:You will be responsible for the design, management and support of all infrastructure platforms and services to the organisation, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for M365, as well as delivering excellent operational support and proactive measurement and monitoring of services. In providing 3rd line support, you will also:

• Design, implement and maintain the organisation’s infrastructure
• Management of critical infrastructure elements
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and design, implement and maintain IT solutions to meet those requirements. Ensure all systems are resilient and highly available. Perform regular disaster recovery testing of critical systems and report to the audit committee.
• Maintain awareness of current cyber security threats and implement technologies to strengthen the companies cyber security posture.
• Create and keep service documentation up to date

Requirements:

• Extensive technical background with M365
• Good working knowledge of both physical and virtualised server management
• Experience of supporting and delivering Platforms and Services in a large and geographically diverse organisation.
• Comfortable working with third party vendors
• Awareness of new and upcoming technologies
• Working knowledge of Cyber security processes
