This role offers a Direct to route becoming a Head of Data as it’s a succession planning role. Are you immediately available? or on a short notice period? this is a PERM hire ONLY so we are not open for contractors.

You will be joining an ELITE TOP END Equity Hedge Fund! They are going through a large digital transformation project. Using the cloud to help them automate reporting for better deal execution!

This is an outstanding opening for a Power BI Developer to join an Ultra Faced paced business who are making a real impact to their client’s investment needs. They are an entrepreneurial company with a great vision for their Data Analytics. As they grow, they are now looking to bring someone in to help them with their critical business making decisions. This role offers a direct succession to becoming a Head of Data and Analytics.

Role Overview

• Exposure to all parts of the firm -regional heads, product heads and deal execution team
• Data analysis and visualisations to help power our client relationships and live deal execution
• Management information and reporting
• Support ongoing technology improvements in the company.

Responsibilities

• Bespoke development of Pitching and Deal Execution Analytics.
• Own and execute the analytics roadmap
• Design, develop and implement new pitching and execution visualisation analytics in combination with business teams.
• Bespoke development of Engagements and Deals Analytics.
• Own and execute the development roadmap for our bespoke CRM system.
• Independently deliver enhancements to the platform via PowerApps, including PowerBI.
• Design, develop and implement new MI in combination with senior leadership.
• Technology Thought Leadership
• Be vigilant and continually enhance and challenge the cyber security protections in place.
• Promote Data Architecture best practice

Experience

• Strong technical background in software development, architecture, and system design.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or alternative cloud platforms, and modern development practices.
• At least 5+ Development background: Strong PowerBI, Power Apps, and SQL Server development skills essential.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Equity Capital Markets is preferred, but Financial Services is 100% essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related field.
