Red Recruitment is recruiting a Presales Solution Consultant to join our client, a cybersecurity, communications and technology-managed business. This is an exciting time to join this business as they expand their Presales team.

This role is hybrid; you must live within 1 hour of the office. The salary for this position is up to 55,000 per annum and is negotiable.

Benefits and Package for a Presales Solution Consultant:

• Salary: up to 55,000 per annum (negotiable)
• Hours: Monday – Friday, full-time

• Location: Hybrid, you will need to work in the office 1/2 days per week, due to this you must live within 1 hour of either Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, London, Doncaster, Cambridge, Surrey, Reading or Norwich

Key Responsibilities of a Presales Solution Consultant:

• Working alongside the sales team to develop IT strategy for the diverse client base across both public and private sectors
• Responding to sales and prospects’ technical requests in a timely manner
• Acting as a conduit between Sales, Product, R&D and Service Delivery teams, collaborating on projects
• Providing a strategy and roadmap to meet the client’s growing requirements
• Being the go-to person for the sales team

Key Skills and Experience of a Presales Solution Consultant:

• To be considered for this role you must have good knowledge of Microsoft AZ-104, Microsoft AZ-140, Microsoft AZ-700 and Microsoft AZ-305
• Previous experience working in an MSP environment in either a Presales, Engineer, or Architect role (ideally 3 years experience)
• The ability to work on your own initiative and be able to collaborate with the Presales team across the business
• Previous experience of creating technical documentation for the purpose of educating customers
• Good knowledge of the following technologies is preferred:
  • HP Enterprise (DL, ML, Synergy Compute, 3PAR, Nimble, HPE Greenlake)
  • Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 Server
  • Microsoft Windows 7, 10, 11
  • Microsoft Hyper-V. VMware vSphere, Horizon
  • Datto backup portfolio
  • Veeam backup portfolio
  • Sophos, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, Defender EDR/Antivirus
  • Microsoft 365
  • WatchGuard, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Cyber Security principles
