Austin Fraser is working with a market leading organisation who are looking to bring a Security Assurance Consultant on board for an initial 6 month contract. The role is outside IR35.The Security Assurance Consultant will be supporting our client to understand Government/NHS governance, risk and compliance to write and deliver documentation in relation to delivering new services within the Network and Security space.
Candidates should have experience in working within Central Government/NHS organisations and be familiar with their internal Assurance standards such as HMG Security Policy Framework, NHS Data Protection Toolkit and NCSC Cyber Assurance Frameworks.Working with our client and their internal Assurance team, the candidate will need to produce policies and documentation that are compliant to Government standard to support on going services.
The role is hybrid with 1 day a week on site in London or Oxford.
Requirements:
Deploys enterprise information assurance and security standards into the internal project team.
Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
Supports the internal project team at the highest levels in the development and implementation of risk-based controls.
Applies experience to government user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialised security features for system design.
Performs risk analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
Advises and implements solutions that meet security requirements
Production of a bespoke Security Management Plan for the delivery of Government services in a secure way.
Experience of working with:
– NCSC Cyber Assurance Framework
– HMG Security Policy Framework
– NHS Data Protection toolkit
