A leading customer-focused business, currently undergoing a major transformation, are seeking an experienced Security Operation Manager to play a pivotal role in the maintenance and improvement of their cyber security processes and services.

Reporting into the Head of IT Security, the Security Operations Manager will take on a leadership role within the SecOps team, being accountable for the effective management of IT security guidelines, procedures, and frameworks, whilst also driving the continual improvement of the wider team.

Working closely with internal technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as managing relationships with key external suppliers, the Security Operations Manager will utilise their knowledge of cloud security platforms and modern cyber security standards to contribute and drive forward the group security operations strategy and ensure data and assets and sufficiently protected.

Security Operations Manager – Key Responsibilities:

• Significant previous experience in a leadership role within Security Operations/Cyber Security
• Strong track record in directly managing and upskilling security teams
• A hands-on technical background in security, ideally working within a SOC/SecOps environment
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure
• Up to date knowledge of cyber security frameworks, such as ISO27001, NIST, etc.
• Experience working in a highly regulated, customer-focused organisation
• Previous experience in identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, threat management, etc.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, supplier management, and interpersonal skills

Security Operations Manager – Salary & Benefits:

• Basic salary up to £75,000
• 15% to 20% performance related bonus
