Our client, a leading organization in the energy and utilities industry, and is seeking an experienced SOC Manager to lead their Security Operations Center (SOC) into the next phase of security excellence. You’ll be the mastermind behind their security defense, guiding an exceptional team of SOC Engineers to identify, analyze, and neutralize threats before they breach the critical infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct a group of security analysts to ensure that the security infrastructure is monitored and analyzed.
• Manage the inquiry and reaction to security events, reducing harm and interruptions.
• Take the helm of the group on fascinating SOC initiatives.
• Create and put into effect security policies and processes to guard the company against changing threats.
• Keep abreast of the most recent developments in cybersecurity trends and technology, and put them into practice.
• Oversee and guide a group of enthusiastic SOC Engineers, ensuring that a cooperative work atmosphere is promoted.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience running a SOC or similar cybersecurity operation.
• Exhibited proficiency in leading threat-hunting campaigns, vulnerability assessments, and incident response operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of endpoint security solutions, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools and technologies.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and guide a variety of teams.
• Analytical acumen and strategic thinking for the immediate identification and mitigation of new cyberthreats.
