Overview

You have the chance to work with a global Connectivity and Business Enterprise provider, headquartered in the Channel Islands, with over 500 employees, who offer a range of world-class services to over 3,000 enterprise customers.

The Security Solution Architect operates within the Global Solutions team, delivering consistent cybersecurity, risk, and compliance services/assessments, generating reports with prioritised recommendations, and offering consultative assistance to clients. The Security Solution Architect will collaborate with internal leadership teams and colleagues to aid clients in safeguarding their digital assets, information, and systems against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. An essential aspect of this role involves designing and customising these services for integration into the product/services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities of the Security Solution Architect:

• Devise and propose security architectures, solutions, and controls to safeguard critical assets and data for clients.
• Aid clients in developing and implementing incident response plans to navigate security breaches effectively.
• Conduct security assessments, including penetration testing, to pinpoint vulnerabilities in systems and networks, and suggest mitigation plans as needed.
• Recommend, devise, and implement security tools and technologies, such as Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and DDoS mitigation solutions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients.
• Ensure alignment of technical implementation with customers’ business requirements.
• Spearhead risk advisory services for customers.
• Guarantee compliance with contractual security requirements for managed service customers.
• Perform gap analyses and risk assessments on solutions in-flight and in future contractual commitments.
• Identify security deliverables, create work packs, and ensure a smooth handover into operational delivery.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and third-party suppliers.

Key Requirements of the Security Solution Architect:

• Proven experience in IT, Cyber, and Information Security technologies and products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about expanding skills and gaining a deep understanding of all information security domains.
• Capable of working effectively under tight deadlines.
• Possession of relevant certifications in the risk and security industry, such as CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CEH.
• Ability to follow, create, and modify operational and technical procedures, as well as best practice documents.
• Proficiency in constructing comprehensive quotes and proposals.
• Experience in consultative sales and effectively communicating value propositions.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in IT-centric service management and IT operations management.
• Political awareness of regulatory constraints, ensuring compliance with various geographic jurisdictions.
