• In this key role, you’ll becontributing to independent audit engagement assurance byundertaking allocated tasks within the engagement lifecycle
• This is a fast paced and varied rolewhich will enable you to build your network at the bank, bycollaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and senioremployees

Whatyou’ll do

As a SeniorAuditor, we’ll look to you to provide quality, efficient andeffective assurance and influence business managers to improvecontrol as part of a digital and data-driven organisation. You’llbe assessing technology and cyber security risks and controls andcarrying out testing, as well as contributing to assurance planningand undertaking effective processmapping.

You’ll alsobe:

• Analysing MI and reviewing riskinformation to identify key business risks and contribute tocontinuous monitoring
• Producing effective auditengagement reports and opinions, which influence our businessmanagers to ensure they lead in a risk consciousway
• Engaging with stakeholders throughoutengagements, making sure they understand business risks by havingopen and effective conversations on keyrisks
• Coaching auditors and supporting them torealise their potential on theengagement

Theskills you’ll need

We’relooking for someone with audit or risk management experience, anunderstanding of the principles of good risk management and strongTechnology skills;

You’ll alsoneed:

• An in depth understanding oftechnology infrastructure and cyber security risks, concepts, andtechnologies, including: Cloud native architectures and publiccloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP). Common Operating system, databaseand middleware platforms. DevOps concepts including infrastructureas code and observability
• Excellent analyticalskills and the ability to assess and prioritise data effectively,quickly establishing what’s important
• Athorough grounding in monitoring and testing effectivecontrols
• Excellent stakeholder managementskills
• Great communication skills, with theability to translate concepts in a clear and conciseway
