Are you a Cyber Security generalist who enjoys dealing with escalated (L3) incidents, communicating with technical and non-technical members of staff, maintaining stakeholder, IT Ops and GRC team relationships and managing SIEM, EDR & Vulnerability management tools? If the answer is yes, keep reading! Crone Corkill are working with a Financial firm who are searching for a number of Senior Cyber Security Analysts to join their expanding Cyber team on a permanent basis.

What will you do as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst?

• Act as a conduit between Cyber Security, IT Ops and GRC teams
• Proactively look for incidents, threats and vulnerabilities within the business
• Work as an incident response escalation point for the CSIRT team
• Manage SIEM and EDR tools
• Improve threat & vulnerability management and remediation processes
• Ensure security best practice is being followed (in partnership with the GRC team)
• Automate tasks where applicable
• Assist in the delivery of projects from a Cyber perspective and ensure BAU tasks are fulfilled

What skills do you need to be a Senior Cyber Security Analyst?

• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Incident response point of escalation experience (primarily L3)
• Managing SIEM & EDR tools (open on which vendors)
• Translating security risks to other teams
• Conducting threat & vulnerability assessments
• Performing threat hunts
• Deep understanding of Windows & Linux environments
• Background working in Infrastructure, Network, Servers, Sys Admin etc
• Automation/scripting languages (advantageous)
• Understanding of ISO27001 (advantageous)
• Relevant Cyber Security certifications (advantageous)
