Method Resourcing has continuted their partnership with a historic British Financial Insitution who are looking to add a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer to their team.

Our client is looking are for an experienced Senior CyberSecurity Engineer, who will be tasked with taking ownership on end-to-end Security practices and policies.

This role won’t involve reactive work, instead there are several very exciting project workstreams on the go, with the roadmap to add several more.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has strong all-encompassing skills/knowledge in a varierty of security technologies.
• 5+ years of information security/security engineering experience.
• Has a previous background in Infrastructure before moving into CyberSecurity.
• Has taken responsibility, led the charge, and taken ownership of security implementation projects.
• Is a true out and out tecchy!

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, even during pressurised situations and time constraints.
• Experience in leading initiatives, and an inquisitive mindset.
• Knowledge of Security Network Protocols and Topologies.
• Expertise in multiple different security practices, and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Take proactive action to identify and escalate security incidents.
• Take part in the maturation of security processes.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to produce quality, robust and scalable solutions.
• Work within SOC, Incident Response and Management, Security Strategy Planning, and Vulnerability Management.
