The Team and Job Summary

Our Digital Investigations and Discovery business goes from strength to strength globally. This role would sit a matrix operating structure taking a lead on all business development activity across the EMEA region for a digital investigations and discovery practice. Working with EMEA business leadership and Global Business development leadership this role would be pivotal in the evolvement and hands on execution of our growth strategy in this market segment.

This Business Development professional would be tasked with starting, building and naturing relationships across a wide range of UK and International law firms with the key focus of pursuing and closing business opportunities with in-house subject matter experts. This includes consulting services, on-demand hosted software and services, and packaged technology service offerings. The individual should have experience in consultative sales of information governance, eDiscovery solutions and/or cyber security consulting.

Job Responsibilities

• Consistently qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities that provide profitable revenue to J.S. Held.
• Build an effective pipeline and execute on each phase of the sales process.
• Incorporate knowledge of our products and services, the customer, and key competitors into the sales process and use that knowledge create value based solutions.
• Uncover value for the customer and articulate the value of our solutions.
• Accurately forecast the business on a consistent basis.
• Establish customer relationships that enable J.S. Held to be viewed as a trusted advisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Significant track record of solution based business development across the EMEA market
• A strong network within international law firms
• Experience working in Digital Investigation & Discovery
• Excellent teamworking and consulting skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex and growing global matrix structure.
