Role Overview:

As a Senior Infrastructure Analyst, you will collaborate with the Senior IT Infrastructure and Applications Manager (SIAM) and Cyber Security and Infrastructure Manager (CSIM) to oversee the maintenance, support, updates, and patching of both physical and virtual infrastructure within the firm. This role is integral to ensuring optimal IT services and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Head of IT, Head of Service Delivery (HOSD), SIAM, and CSIM to ensure the delivery of high-standard IT services, developing an operational IT plan to communicate the vision for future technology direction.
• Proactively manage on-premise and Cloud infrastructure alongside the SIAM, identifying and managing major incidents efficiently to minimize impact and ensure business operations’ speedy resumption.
• Support the Infrastructure and wider IT Support teams in continuous improvement, recruitment, organization, training, and coaching to meet evolving requirements.
• Provide leadership for the infrastructure, end-user computing, and application support teams, including third-line support.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting Fladgate Partners and staff in accordance with IT service management best practices.
• Review the Firm’s business engagement strategy and deliver qualitative and quantitative metrics of performance for issue identification.
• Lead and oversee the implementation of user-facing IT projects, delivering new and enhanced services across all offices.
• Maintain and expand a strong working knowledge of currently used and future technologies.

Person Specification:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering ITIL-based IT services in a law firm or similar professional environment.
• Relevant ITIL certifications.
• Knowledge of legal industry-specific business applications and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with demonstrable legal experience.
• Past hands-on experience in delivering products and services, including proactive vendor management and negotiation.
• Extensive knowledge of current issues and trends in IT services, including security, data protection, etc.
• Ability to plan and execute effective strategies and innovation leading to tangible business outcomes.

• Windows server technologies including active directory
• Windows clustering – Hyper-V
• Azure Entra M365
• SCCM, Intune and Autopilot
• PowerShell and Power Automate
• SQL Administration
• Patch Management
• Networking technologies (wired and wireless) including switches, firewalls, routers and load balancers
• Storage and SAN technologies
• Backup technologies
• Remote working technologies including VPN and Always On
• Mobile devices including iPhone
• Document management system – iManage or similar
• Time management/recording systems – Aderant Expert or similar
• Practise management systems – Aderant Expert or similar
• Customer relationship management systems – InterAction or similar
