On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join an established organisation with geographical coverage throughout the UK . This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company providing a valuable service, where the culture and values reflect their purpose.
This role will join a growing Infrastructure department and act as the final point of escalation for BAU operations and project delivery. Working with the Service Desk to provide guidance and support, participate in a range of IT related projects, and assist with the deployment of new services and solutions, whilst following an ITIL v4 framework.
This position is offered on a hybrid model however the successful candidate will need to live commutable distance to travel to the support site in Diss, 2/3 days of the week.
Requirements
Proven experience working in a 3rd line or similar infrastructure support role
knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (version 2016 and above), MS Exchange 2016, Hyper-V, and Active Directory.
Strong understanding of cyber security principles
Experience supporting enterprise and operational technology networks (those with experience of SD-WAN, Meraki, or MPLS will stand at an advantage)
