JOB TITLE: Senior Security Engineer
SALARY: The salary banding for this role is £66,861 – £74,290
LOCATION: Leeds, Bristol, Halifax or Manchester
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this opportunity
Our Cloud Services security team is looking for a motivated identity and access engineer to join a newly formed Cloud Identity Services squad, tasked with building end to end non-human identity management tooling, processes and controls across the bank’s Cloud Platforms while simultaneously supporting the wider programme initiatives and business outcomes.
You’ll be part of our dynamic team straddling multiple cloud technologies, with clear focus on designing and implementing the next generation of multi cloud identity management tooling and solutions.
Key components also include:
Automation and maintenance of non-human life cycle processes and controls, including CI/CD pipelines and config management tools ie Azure Devops, Jenkins
Implementation and maintenance of IAM technology and infrastructure
Build demand led solutions with consumable tooling templates ie Terraform, PowerShell
Practice scrum in a small enterprise engineering team across our Public Clouds
Define and own the implementation of new E2E non-human access controls in conjunction with the Security and business partners
Take a key role in our strategic direction, including the creation and shaping of our roadmap, take the initiative in applying security best practise and industry standards
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across IT, security, compliance and the wider organisation

What you’ll need
Recognised expert in Identity Access Management lifecycle with a demonstrable experience of engineering and implementing change in multi cloud environments
Experienced multi cloud engineer who has a history of delivering E2E solutions or components, from design through to delivery
A hybrid multi cloud engineer with expertise in multiple cloud technologies, products and services, including pipeline and config management
Ability to code and build automation, experience in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java/Groovy
Experience with Identity Access Management methodology and technical solutions such as CyberArk, Azure PIM, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Oracle Identity Manager, Sailpoint
Proactively seeks out opportunities and implements service improvements whilst building customer trust and satisfaction.
An ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams / squads and teams to help contribute by experimenting with new tools, methods, and approaches.
And any experience of these would be really useful
Multi Cloud enterprise experience and understanding across more than 1 of Microsoft Azure, Google (GCP), AWS cloud offerings
Extensive experience of working in an enterprise Multi Cloud Identity & Access Management team or an IT Security function
Holder of any relevant Identity or Security qualifications (CISA, CISM, CISMP, CISSP)
Current multi cloud enterprise engineering / solutioning background with working knowledge of identity best practise and principles
An agile operator, extensive understanding of Atlassian product suite (Jira and Confluence), happy to operate with in fluid environment
