Brakes – A Sysco Company,are now recruiting for a SolutionArchitect to join the Technology team on afull time, permanent basis supporting the Supply Chain &Operations network through a period of growth andtransformation.
Reporting to the Centre ofTechnology Director, this role will translate functional andnon-functional requirements into technology solutions – presentingoptions to support decision making that consider both immediateneeds and longer-term considerations. You’ll serve projects thatare part of the Operation and Supply Chain, the particular focus ofthe role will be centred around data and system integrationincluding D365, Mulesoft and SAP. Describing the structure,characteristics, behaviour, and other aspects of software tostakeholders and articulate how the features, and the functionaland non-functional elements of solutions can / or cannot meet thebusiness need and the associated impact. You’ll ensure theTechnology solutions chosen shall be fit for purpose against thebusiness requirements.
This is a home-based role,however occasional travel across our GB depot network will berequired, so flexibility with travel isessential.

Aboutyou:
You’ll be currently workingas a Solution Architect and have experience of leading solutionselection & design across a range of solution sets and marketswith knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architectural frameworks.Experience of working in a Logistics / FMCG environment is requiredfor this role. We’re looking for someone who has a goodunderstanding of existing UK solutions (ideally one or more ofD365, SAP, Mulesoft, Koerber, APO and Verizon) and in particularproven experience of system and data integration projects.Knowledge of architectural tools and software products and designdocumentation is essential to successfully support the majortransformation projects this role will be supporting. You’ll needto be comfortable working within both a waterfall and agiledelivery methodology.
