Due to unrivalled growth and a transformation across their procurement function they seek a Third Party Risk Manager to deliver value through managing Risk, Sustainability and Responsible Procurement.

This is a newly created position which has been identified as a high importance hire to enhance the supply chain and ensure greater risk mitigation in the future. They seek a candidate that possesses strong experience working with all elements of Supply Chain Risk management and analysis. It is important that applicants can operate in a non-mandated procurement function and are able to influence cross functionally within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the framework, governance and approach to supply chain risk management is effective.

Risk Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a Supply Chain Risk Framework that identifies associated risks and devises clear mitigation plans to reduce any negative commercial and operation disruption to the business.
• Devise plans and solutions for events that would cause majors disruptions to supply chain. For example, War, Covid, Maritime Instability, supplier bankruptcies, political unrest, poor labour practices, sustainability etc. Evaluate the economic, environmental, political and ethical risks associated.
• Balance risk across multiple categories, including but not limited to Data Privacy, Cyber security, Macroeconomic risk etc.
• Work with agility and be highly adaptable to manage risk with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
• Work closely alongside the wider procurement function to identify risks within tenders, suppliers, contract renewals. Key areas to consider are the stability of the supplier, location of delivery and the level of financial risk associated.
• Report to Procurement & Supply Chain leaders on the progress of risk mitigation efforts. Influence and inform cross functional departments on supply chain risk.
• Bring attention to and implement solutions to address supply chain risks.

Risk Manager Experience Required:

• Strong working experience of the procurement lifecycle & procedures, as well as supply chain risk management practices.
• Strong soft skills, confident communicator with the ability to influence and cross functionally inform stakeholders to bring about positive impact supply chain risk.
• Strong analytical acumen and the ability to make accurate assumptions through a data driven approach.
• Working experience with ARIBA, Source-to-Pay and Contracts.
