Support Technician (Cloud) Chorleywood, Herts Full Time £23,000 to £30,000 per year

Our client is an established MSP providing a comprehensive range of outsourced IT services to all types of organisations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic junior technician to join our client s Cloud Support team in Chorleywood, Herts. The position requires at least two years of prior IT Support or similar relevant experience.

The company s philosophy is to recruit Junior Technicians and promote them from within as skills and expertise develop.

Are you the right person for us?

To be considered for this role you will need:

• A clear passion for technology
• Excellent written and spoken English, to 1st language standard
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude
• To live within reasonable commuting distance of Chorleywood, Herts
• A respectful, collaborative, and sociable outlook
• Minimum two years experience working in an IT MSP or similar role
• A clear passion for technology (did we say that already?)

A full UK driving licence would be a distinct advantage – occasional visits to customer sites and data centres will need to be made.

Interest and experience with any of the following will be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite:

• Microsoft Technologies including 365, Azure/Entra, InTune, SharePoint
• Cyber Security
• Endpoint Management
• Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, Ethernet Switching and Routing, Firewalls, WiFi
• CCTV and Access Control systems

What will your role as a Cloud Support Technician look like?

Your role will be to assist your colleagues with the following:

• Set up and manage user subscriptions, accounts, permissions, and settings across a wide array of cloud services
• Configure and deploy devices such as laptops, video conferencing and networking equipment
• Troubleshoot and provide assistance to users across cloud services, hardware, and general business software
• Microsoft 365/Azure/Intune/Defender administration
• PowerShell scripting (and other scripting languages)
• Design and implement SharePoint solutions
• Manage and Design Security Solutions including policy design and compliance
• Implement, test, and monitor IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
• On-site and remote client pre-sales and planning meetings
• On-site client meetings and deployment of infrastructure hardware
