Overview:

An opportunity has emerged to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional support to our community. The role involves overseeing the administration of our client’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of systems to cultivate a positive and efficient working environment for our client’s team, volunteers, trustees, and members.

Working Structure:

• Part time – 3 days a week
• Hybrid working – 1 day in office, 2 days WFH

Skills and Experience:

• Need to be able to have a DBS check.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. (3yrs SysAd + 2yrs IT Support would be sufficient)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Administrator
• Oracle NetSuite
• Zendesk

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated proficiency in administering Microsoft Windows, Oracle NetSuite, and Zendesk systems.
• Extensive experience in managing O365 user accounts for staff, trustees, and volunteers.
• Thorough understanding of computer systems and hardware, including setting up new staff with necessary devices.
• Maintenance of system stability, performance, and security, implementing best practices to mitigate cyber threats and breaches.
• Proactive management of data protection and response to any breaches, adhering to reporting protocols.
• Effective support for staff and teams regarding system administration and IT needs.
• Delivery of excellent customer service through guidance, processes, and system reviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills and provision of technical assistance to staff.
• Collaboration with external IT support and other providers to manage systems securely and efficiently.
• Training of staff, trustees, and volunteers on the appropriate use of Zendesk, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Documentation of policies and procedures for internal use.
• Collaboration with the Head of Internal Services to implement a document management system.
• Assistance with approved digital projects under the Chief Digital Information Officer’s guidance.
• Excellent communication skills.
