System Analyst/Architect – International Banking

Excellent opportunity open for an experienced and enthusiastic System Analyst/Architect to take on a crucial role within an International Bank, reporting directly to the COO.

Key Responsibilities:

System analysis and design

• Conduct a thorough analysis of existing systems (Signature 10.1, treasury Ignite, SWIFT), business processes, and user requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
• Design robust and scalable system architectures that align with the bank’s strategic goals.

Security Architecture Design:

• Develop and implement secure system architectures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

Security Awareness and Training:

• Collaborate with the training department to develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.
• Ensure that all staff members are well-informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices.

Threat Intelligence and Monitoring:

• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage advanced threat detection and monitoring tools to proactively identify potential risks.

Technology Evaluation and Selection:

• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the financial industry to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
• Assess the feasibility and compatibility of new technologies with existing systems.

Project management & Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project implementation partners, and business analysts, to ensure the successful implementation of Digital Roadmap projects.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of systems.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct thorough testing and validation of solutions.

Documentation:

• Create comprehensive documentation for system designs, processes, and configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for all projects and systems.

Skills & Experience;

• Strong knowledge of the bank’s IT systems, financial services, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in system analysis tools, architecture design, and project management.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the IBM environment and its components.
• IBM database management.
• Visual language programming (including Java).
• Competent in digital transformation project management.
• Competence in cloud computing/architecture.
• Proficiency in IT project management.
