PURPOSE OF POST:
The post holder will be a positive role model for students, actively supporting the school’s ethos and participating in self-evaluation and development. They will promote a constructive atmosphere that encourages problem-solving and conflict resolution, applying principles of effective leadership. This role includes teaching and learning responsibilities in designated subject areas.

This position requires an enhanced criminal record disclosure and prohibition order check. It is essential to disclose any pending charges, convictions, bind-overs, or cautions. This post is exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Failure to disclose convictions will result in dismissal. A pending charge or conviction will not necessarily disqualify an applicant from consideration. Disclosures are handled per the Safeguarding Code of Practice.
