Technical Consultant – Exciting Opportunity with a Growing IT Provider

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire (Flexible Working from Home Available)

An established and rapidly growing IT service provider is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Solutions: Design and implement modern cloud IT solutions, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Consultancy Services: Provide expert advice on infrastructure, cyber risk, and Microsoft 365 adoption.
• Technical Support: Act as an escalation point for project engineers, offering advanced technical support.
• Customer Engagement: Guide customers through their technical roadmaps and collaborate on presales consultancy.
• Project Management: Work with the Projects Administrator to ensure successful project outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience progressing through service desk roles to a Technical Consultant position.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, including Modern Endpoint Management and Security.
• Experience with Hyper-V/VMware in on-premises and hybrid deployments.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing technical roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certifications (MS-100/101, AZ-104, MS-500).
• Security Certifications (Security+, CEH).

Additional Notes:

• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional work outside normal hours or weekends may be required.
• Travel: Some travel to customer sites will be necessary, so flexibility is essential.
• Clearance: DBS and BPSS checks are required, and SC clearance will need to be obtained (fully funded).
