As a Test Equipment Engineer you will the main focus of this role is to effectively gather top-notch requirements for test equipment utilized in electronics and software development laboratories, along with manufacturing settings. This involves capturing the diverse needs of various stakeholders and organizing the requirements in alignment with the product strategy set by the Test and Testability Leads.

Responsibilities of a Test Equipment Engineer:

• Deliver top-notch Test Solutions, Environment Simulators, and Emulators to both internal teams and customers.
• Contribute to shaping international Weapon System Test Equipment Strategy, ensuring a balanced approach between leveraging existing technology and embracing emerging trends.
• Apply Weapon System Test Equipment and Testability Strategies across new programs and ongoing enhancements, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout their lifecycle.

For this position, you should showcase your proficiency in the following areas:

• Establishing precise requirements and acceptance criteria
• Creating and comprehending interface specifications for connecting subsystems
• Grasping the significance of automated and semi-automated test equipment in product verification and electronic equipment manufacturing
• Collaborating effectively with a diverse engineering team encompassing various disciplines such as Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing
• Identifying and addressing cross-cutting engineering partner requirements, including Safety, Cybersecurity, Human Factors, Customer Support Services, and more.

Skills, Qualification and Experience Needed:

• Experience in DOORS or similar toolset and experience in the design stage of the product lifecycle is highly beneficial.
• Experienced on capturing high quality requirements for test equipment used in electronics and software development labs, as well as the manufacturing environment.
