We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Tier 1 SOC Analyst. This is your chance to join a leading 24/7 managed security services provider!

What You Can Expect

• Location – Remote (MUST be based in the UK)
• Salary – £32,000 and 15% shift bonus
• Industry – Cyber security
• Work type – Permanent

Main Responsibilities of a Tier 1 SOC Analyst

• Quickly identifying, categorising and prioritising alerts within the assigned queue.
• Monitoring incoming alert queues for potential security incidents using Jira.
• Adhering to response and resolution SLA’s when handling an alert.
• Investigating potential incidents leading to either a close or escalation and documenting action taken.
• Using Azure Sentinel for historical searches.
• Support SOC event and information intake including intelligence reports and monitoring reported incidents.
• Assist with analytical rule tuning.

Qualifications and Skills

• CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A ROTATING 24 X 7 SHIFT PATTERN (7AM-7PM AND 7PM-7AM). THIS WILL BE 4 ON, 4 OFF.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a SOC analyst.
• Experience using Azure Senintel, Chronicle, Splunk or equivalent.
• Interest in building a career within Cyber Security.
