Junior, Senior and Principal C&I Engineer Opportunities!

Role Overview:

• Jr, Sr and Principal C&I Engineers for the clientsconsultancy division.
• A leading role in control system engineering projects within hydrogen, gas-storage, renewables, battery storage and conventional generation plant environments.
• Development of distributed control systems, safety instrumented systems and basic plant instrumentation schemes.
• Delivering technical feasibility studies and front endengineering design for C&I installations and equipment.
• Creating technical specifications for C&I systems, including topics such as;functional safety, potentially explosive atmospheres and cyber security.
• Technically leading multi-disciplined teams of permanent, temporary, and sub-contractor colleagues.
• Authoring technical reports for internal clients.

Requirements:

• Educated to a Higher National Diploma or Degree level in anControl Systems, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering discipline, supported with a sound technical knowledge of control or process engineering design and / or practical application gained through a minimum of 2 years’ post-graduation relevant experience.
• Ideally have attained or be working towards being a certified Functional safety engineer or CompExEx12 Application design engineer.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Initiative-taking individual with the ability to plan and organise their workload and priorities
• Developing people skills to enable effective working relationships within the team, in multi-discipline project teams and with senior stakeholders.
• The ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets.
• The ability to work independently as well as working as part of a larger multi-discipline project team.
• Can demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems.
• Flexibility to travel for this role, within the UK, and sometimes internationally.
• Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office products, including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A full UK driving licence.

Job Details:

• Salary:Up to £75,000 p.a. (Negotiable for exceptional candidates)
• Hours:Full-time with flexible hours and remote options (37 hours per week).
• Core Hours:10:00 – 15:00.
• Location:Some flexible attendance required in Nottingham.
• Start Date:Immediate.
• Occasional Work:Rare weekends or international travel might be required.
