Cititec Talent are looking for an Azure Architect/Engineer to join our client’s growing engineering team. We are currently prioritising Identity and Access Management on Azure (IAM), understanding Azure network components (recent Azure changes in VPNs, private networks, shared environment deployment, security, and permissioning, etc), and containerization proficiency (Docker and Kubernetes experience).

As an Azure Architect/Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our client’s digital asset custody platform. This involves interfacing with exchanges, liquidity providers, and securely managing digital asset movements.

Emphasizing a security-first approach due to the cybersecurity landscape, you’ll contribute to the platform’s continuous improvement. Hosted on Microsoft Azure, it utilizes dockerized containers with primary development in Java, Javascript, and Python.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Engage in production system engineering, covering monitoring, alerting, and service management.
• Provide architectural design input to ensure the robustness and scalability of the platform.
• Actively participate in engineering development, supporting the business’s in-house systems.
• Offer periodic out-of-hours support for continuous platform operation.
• Undertake production support for the application and its infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Facilitate seamless integration with various vendor products and services.
• Collaborate in integrating the platform with exchanges, financial intermediaries, data feeds, and data repositories.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, ensuring familiarity with the latest updates and features, and container orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Java development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality code (or willing to pick this up).
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly, especially in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency and Azure landscapes.
• Proficiency in Java, Javascript, and Python.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
