About Twinstake:

Twinstake is a noncustodial institutional grade staking as a service provider. Twinstake operates validators across a wide range of Proof-of-Stake protocols and allows institutional clients to delegate their assets using their preferred custodians to collect staking rewards. Twinstake charges a commission on the staking rewards for operating the validators and providing analytics and reporting.

As the CTO of Twinstake, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive the development and implementation of staking infrastructure and related products. You will lead a team of talented engineers and developers, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, and maintain a scalable and secure infrastructure platform and technological solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technological vision of Twinstake as you lead the technology strategy, drive innovation, and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our staking platform. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned technology leader to make a significant impact in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.

What you’re good at:

• Evaluate the strategic vision and recommend technological solutions to ensure Twinstake’s leadership in the industry
• Own the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives
• Drive the architecture, scalability and implementation of the Twinstake infrastructure and data platforms to support the growing demand for staking services
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge

Product Development:

• Lead the design, development and deployment of technological solutions at Twinstake, including the launch of new products, procurement of strategic integrations and onboarding of new assets
• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions

Infrastructure and Security:

• Establish and enforce development and deployment methodologies, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to deliver robust and reliable solutions
• Oversee the security and privacy aspects of the infrastructure, implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Manage and optimize the technology infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Implement and oversee robust security measures to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
• Establish and communicate clear expectations, objectives, and performance metrics for the technology team

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and security, to ensure the successful delivery and maintenance of the Twinstake’s technology
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for integration into the company’s infrastructure
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance and expand technological capabilities

What you bring:

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Director, or similar leadership role in a technology-driven organization
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, particularly staking and consensus algorithms
• Strong expertise in on-premise infrastructure design, implementation, and management with a deep understanding of traditional data center technologies, virtualization, server hardware and networking
• Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with DevOps & SRE practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of smart contract development and experience with programming languages such as Solidity
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in infrastructure development, such as GO, C# or Java
• Proven experience in data engineering, including designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, data warehousing solutions, and data integration strategies using modern technologies, with advanced knowledge of Python and SQL
• Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and secure key management
• Good familiarity with infrastructure cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing distributed systems
• Track record of successfully delivering complex technological solutions, preferably in infrastructure, on time and within budget
