Aylesbury – Hybrid – 3 days in the office per week.

Salary – up to £40,000 dependant upon experience

Job Description: I am seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting the organization’s digital infrastructure from cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to assess the effectiveness of our security measures.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risks and strengthen our security posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions and remediate security issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance security defenses.
• Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cybersecurity-related matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and security operations.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
