Due to growth within the business, our client is seeking an experience Cyber Security Engineer to join their team based on the outskirts of Crawley.

Role Overview:

As a Cyber Security Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to provide security consultancy services to customers. This includes delivering security designs and constructing new security infrastructure to support the implementation of new functionality and service improvements.

You will hold design authority for specific elements of security infrastructure, ensuring their successful implementation. Additionally, this role involves addressing critical issues, resolving complex problems, and offering expert guidance in various information security domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide security design, guidance, and technical expertise for customer projects
• Offer pre-sales support to our business development and sales teams
• Implement security infrastructure both remotely and on customer sites
• Ensure documentation of security infrastructure is current and relevant
• Act as an escalation point for internal support teams, aiding in the resolution of security issues

Requirements:

• Experience in Information Security and Risk Management (preferred)
• In-depth hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools
• Familiarity with technologies like Fortinet, Amazon Web Services, Qualys, Imperva, Thales, Trend Micro is advantageous
• Must have a UK driving licence and own transport due to office location and customer sites visits
