Cyber Security Manager – 75k

This is a brand new opportunity for an individual looking to make a mark within a fast growing organisation.

The role offers full hybrid working with 1 day a week in their Leeds HQ allowing you to collaborate with the rest of global IT team.

I have sign off upto 75k alongside bonus / private healthcare / competitive pension.

The purpose of this role is to apply specialist skills and expertise at a managerial level to manage a complex range of cyber risks impacting the business. T

You will act as the SME for IT cyber security risk management across a large multi site global organisation as part of their internal cyber function.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Lead cyber security risk management activities
• Lead the implementation and improvement of policies
• Incident management responsibilities
• Stakeholder management for internal and external entities
• Mange the implementation of security requirements within a portfolio of IT change projects and act as a cyber risk SME within change delivery, managing risks associated with delivery and the integration of new processes or tools into business operations.
• Develop and deploy risk management strategies
• Threat hunting

Desirable Skills & Experience for Cyber Security Risk Manager

• Experience within a cyber security operating model aligned with ISO27001 or NIST-CSF frameworks.
• Experience working in a cyber regulated or high assurance sector or operating model.
• Achieved or working towards Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or SANS GICSP or equivalent information security practitioner level certifications.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and NCSC Secure by Design principles.
• Experience working in a team structure with examples of managing different types of stakeholder relationships across a corporate structure.
• Experience working in an operating model with a broad range of tasking and fast-moving workloads, including managing autonomous delivery.
