On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Data Security SME for a 6 Month contract based in London.

Purpose of the Role:

The Data security SME will specialise in the innovation and evolution of these areas from idea, to project to implementation in BAU. The roles requires a good overall cyber security technical knowledge and expertise in Data Security and ability to interpret theory to practice to practical implementation The role will require the owner to be able to juggle several workstreams at the same time and interact with all levels of management include Senior Stakeholder management particularly when represented at relevant Steering Committees.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Driving and delivering multiple cyber defence projects of varying size, for county/regional deployment.
• To own end-to-end accountability for the project.
• Understanding and applying best project management practice including Agile to oversee implementation.
• Ensuring projects meet their objectives and that any evolution to original objective is agreed, tracked and documented.
• Ensuring proof of concept and testing as required for successful outcome.
• To evaluate the DLP (Data Loss Prevention) framework/procedures/process based on past incident, peer/industry feedback, best practice, threat evolution and discussion, to constantly evolve and improve DLP process.
• Integrating new evolution of DLP process into production and ensure that all policy/procedures are up-to-date.

What we require from the candidate:

• Overall expert level in several Cyber Security disciplines particularly Data leakage protection. Exposure and depth of knowledge on several topics will be expected.
• Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying size to at minimum county/regional deployment.
• Experience in a large & complex environment.
• Information Security background and preferably relevant qualification ie Computing degree, CISSP, CISM etc.
• Experience of Security Best practices.
• Fluent in both English and French (desirable).
