Trident Search have been retained to help build out an executive team for one of our clients. This is a confidential search, so limited information about the business is in this description. This client is looking for a Director of Professional Services to help them capitalise on the foundations that have been laid over the last 12 months and to help create an entire PS division within the business. These areas will cover Infosec consulting, Pentesting and Incident Response.

This individual should be looking at working on this project for the next 3-5 years as the business wants to make sure they build a strong offering for clients and do not believe in rushing this service. Travel once a week into their London offices is required, as well as travel to UK client sites.

Key Skills:
Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the professional services division aligned with the company’s overall objectives
• Provide visionary leadership to the team and the wider business, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and client satisfaction.

Client Engagement:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance on the development and implementation of effective cybersecurity strategies.

Service Delivery:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of professional services, including risk assessments, penetration testing, security audits, and incident response.

Team Management:

• Lead and inspire a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development.

Resource Allocation:

• Effectively allocate resources, including personnel and technology, to meet project timelines and client expectations.
• Optimise resource utilisation to maximise efficiency and profitability.

Collaboration:

• Work as ‘one team’ with other departments, including sales, marketing, and research, to ensure a coordinated approach to client engagement and service delivery.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed to enhance service offerings.
