Join a leader in the digital learning industry who are on a mission to expand affordable and accessible education around the world! I am working exclusively with this organisation who are in early stage startup mode to scale their product and service offerings and need a Director of Technology / Tech Leader to drive this forward.

With a commitment to operational and technical excellence, a proven track record in scaling businesses through technology with a CRM sales-based, customer and/or public facing tech platform is what you, as the Director of Technology, need in order to succeed in this role.

As the Director of Technology and most senior technical person in the business, you will be responsible for strategy as part of a small team. Running lean you must be a doer, entrepreneurial and have a high tolerance for change as the business scales. This role requires you to have a good understanding of a range of consumer, customer and partner facing technology which may include some of the following: Programming languages (such as Java, Python, JavaScript .), AWS, Salesforce CRM, CMS / Content Management Systems, Ecommerce, LMS / Learning Management Systems, Billing & Payment Services, Microsoft 365, Chatbots, AI Video Creation, Integration Services, IT / Network Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture and/or Data Protection laws / regulations.

It would be great for the Director of Technology to have:

• Proven track record of developing and delivering technology improvements to a CRM sales-based, customer and/or public facing tech platform
• Strong tech leader who is able to define strategy as well as make tech decisions as a part of a small team
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain in lay terms to a non-technical audience
• Technical experience which may include some of the following: Programming languages (such as Java, Python, JavaScript .), AWS, Salesforce, CMS / Content Management Systems, Ecommerce, LMS / Learning Management Systems, Billing & Payment Services, Microsoft 365, Chatbots, AI Video Creation, Integration Services, IT / Network Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture and/or Data Protection laws / regulations
• Results-driven and early stage start-up mentality with a focus on improving systems, meeting business objectives and evolving to a modern technology organisation
