In line with our commitment to innovation, we are seeking a visionary Director of Technology to lead their technological initiatives in either London or Dubai. This role is crucial in driving the integration of artificial intelligence and bespoke application development to elevate our architectural capabilities and deliver exceptional projects.

Position Overview:

As the Director of Technology, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing our technology strategy, with a specific focus on AI integration and application development. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our architectural practice remains at the forefront of innovation, delivering cutting-edge designs and solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy and Vision:

• Develop and communicate a technology strategy that aligns with the architectural vision, emphasizing the integration of AI and custom application development.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to architecture.

AI Integration:

• Lead the integration of artificial intelligence into architectural processes, optimizing design workflows and exploring innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with design teams to identify and implement AI applications that enhance the creative and functional aspects of architectural projects.

Application Development:

• Oversee the development of bespoke applications tailored to support architectural design, collaboration, and project management.
• Ensure applications are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with the unique requirements of architectural projects.

Collaboration with Design Teams:

• Collaborate closely with architectural and design teams to understand their technological needs and provide solutions that enhance the design and project delivery processes.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a technology team that is passionate about integrating technology seamlessly into the architectural practice.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology team.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring that solutions align with architectural goals and contribute to design excellence.

Regulatory Compliance and Security:

• Establish and enforce technology policies to ensure regulatory compliance and the highest standards of data security in architectural projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a technology leadership role within an architectural or design-focused firm.
• Strong background in AI integration and application development, with a keen understanding of architectural processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology in architecture.
• Familiarity with both London and Dubai architectural markets is advantageous.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, etc.).
