Job Description

In the role of Principal Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your domain and product proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition Design and also product support. Required:

1. Must have: Proven experience in full lifecycle development, implementation, support, migration/upgrade projects in downstream retail Fleet card Consulting.
2. Experienced as a functional consultant/program management in Downstream working knowledge and business processes across the Oil & Gas Downstream (Refinery) processes.
3. Experience in executing the Oil & Gas digital transformation projects and digital transformation initiatives.
4. Tool knowledge required: Digital technologies like Cloud, AI, blockchain, Analytics and product knowledge in OAS, MES, LIMS, Modelling and simulation, etc.
5. Experience in gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirement and creating functional specifications for new systems and processes.
6. Experience in assessing as-is processes, doing gap analysis, creating to-be processes and making recommendations to implement changes.
7. Design, Development, implementation experience for various solutions using digital technologies in downstream refinery processes.
8. Maintenance and improvement of Real Time Data infrastructure.
9. Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability.
10. Good knowledge on software configuration management systems and Analytical skills.
11. Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends.
12. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.
13. Client Interfacing skills.
14. Work with Architecture Team and Cyber Security teams in ensuring the secure, reliable setup & Operations.
15. Support pursuits with large Oil & Gas prospects, specifically articulating Infosys’ products and services unique value proposition through practical use cases across the value chain.
16. Create solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates.
