Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT to lead our IT department, overseeing all aspects of technology infrastructure, systems, and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies to support the organization’s objectives and ensure the delivery of innovative, reliable, and secure IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems, with a focus on Office 365 and Azure solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data, implementing robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring effective partnerships and service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand IT requirements and priorities, delivering solutions that meet business needs, including business applications.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in technology resources and initiatives.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategic responses.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience defining and developing IT strategies
• Proven experience designing and implementing projects
• Proven experience leading and managing a team
• Proven experience managing the IT budget
• Experience defining and managing SLAs and KPIs
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing IT teams and projects.
• Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity, with specific experience in Office 365, Azure, and business applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions and initiatives.
• Experience working in the events, exhibitions, or hospitality industry is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) would be advantageous.
