HEAD OF IT CONTACT CENTRE STOKE ON TRENT UP TO £60,000 BASIC SALARY + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

Head of IT required by our clients who is leading and well-established provider of business support services based in Stoke in Trent.

Due to their continued success and growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced and hands on Head of IT to work from their Stoke on Trent contact centre.

If, you have experience in a Microsoft M365 environment, Cloud-Based solution and a strong background in IT Management, then this could be the role for you.

The Role

• As Head of IT, your role will be to develop and implement IT strategies that align with our clients goals and objectives.
• You will manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Manage the existing Windows Server 2019 infrastructure and 280 PC estate
• Ensure the security and integrity of the company s IT infrastructure, including data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that improve business processes and increase efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry, and make recommendations for new tools and solutions as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with ISO27001, ISO22301 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
• You will be based from our clients Stoke on Trent contact centre with easy Motorway links and parking
• This is a new role within the IT Department, being an integral part of the senior leadership team with the ability to directly grow the business with your innovative ideas

The Ideal Candidate

• As Head of IT you will have at least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Microsoft technologies and cloud-based solutions.
• Ideally come from a hands-on Network Engineering / Development background
• Ideally Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired but not essential
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business
• Strong cloud knowledge and experience
• Strong project management experience with infrastructure and upgrade migration experience
• The successful candidate will need to be able to utilise their experience and knowledge to create an immediate impact on the business and role
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of IT professionals (3 direct reports)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that improve business processes and increase efficiency
• Live within a commutable distance to the Stoke on Trent contact centre Easy Motorway and rail links, accessible from the surrounding regions, e.g. Manchester, Derbyshire, Birmingham etc.

The Package

• £50,000 – £60,000 Basic Salary (Subject to experience)
• 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
