Techcited Ltd. is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT to join our esteemed client in Leicester. We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead their IT department, drive innovation, and manage complex projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive project analysis, development, implementation, and documentation.
• Oversee and direct allocated resources to ensure adherence to project work plans.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on project status to the Core Team or CEO.
• Lead internal IT projects from initiation through to completion.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including the Core Team, CEO, and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Consult with the Core Team or CEO to define the desired appearance and functionalities of websites.
• Lead the IT development team in conceptualizing the website design process.
• Create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces, perform SEO procedures, and integrate multimedia elements.

1. Project Lifecycle Management:

   • Efficiently initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.
   • Master agile methodologies, risk management, and resource allocation.

2. Technical Proficiency and Innovation:

   • Deep understanding of the latest technologies, including software development, cybersecurity, cloud services, and data management.
   • Utilise emerging technologies for competitive advantage and propose innovative solutions.

3. Communication and Leadership:

   • Communicate effectively with the Core Team, CEO, team members, and executives.
   • Inspire and lead teams through technical challenges.

4. Resource Management:

   • Allocate resources effectively, manage budgets, and optimise project delivery.

5. Documentation:

   • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reference and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing the full project lifecycle.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage resources efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to grow business using Information Technology and systems.
